Please write a paragraph describing your experience at Passages to someone else who’s loved one is suffering from chemical dependency and other life issues.
- What ever I can do to help! I began questioning our decision to send our daughter to Passages right away. After all, she was not an addict or an alcoholic. Quickly it became apparent that she did suffer from addictive thinking and codependency issues. Basically she fit right in! PTR staff was well trained and ready to deal with all of the issues that she brought to the table I think you ought to change the name to “I got your back!” What an amazing and unique experience to be able to know that you had my daughter’s back and our families’ back at the same time. That was a first. Thank you!
- It provided a safe, therapeutic environment for our daughter, as we had hoped, which gave us time to contemplate what she needed long term. It went way beyond that, and helped her identify her weakness and what she needs to address. She grew more than I thought she would in the short 6 weeks.
- I was very nervous to spend the kind of money this program costs at first, but after attending the family workshop and seeing how the program has changed my son’s life, it was worth every penny.
- I felt my daughter was in a safe place at Passages. It’s a natural and wholesome environment, which is what she needed to come to terms with her dependency.
- At a time when life is traumatic, frightening and unpredictable, Passages brought comfort and peace to my life and gave my son the opportunity to see the value of a sober life style. His experiences here made him strong, both physically and emotionally, and gave him the courage to forge ahead in a positive, hopeful direction.
