Overall Satisfaction

  • The changes that have been made from the field process and the family workshop.

  • Incorporating 12 steps and AA principles into field and workshop.

  • I visited TC when dropping our child off at the beginning. Attitude of recent grads gave me a lot of hope.

  • VQ and confidence development were great- as my child said, he got his work ethic back.

  • How much the kids accomplished learning about the wilderness and vision quest. How the program was individualized for each student.

  • The care given to my daughters needs.

  • Everyone we met, spoke with by phone, or e-mailed with was very responsive, respectful, caring and acted timely. I especially appreciate the personalized VQ that was developed for our daughter.

  • Family workshop

  • I knew that I just needed to do whatever I needed to do to get my child here. That was the most unpleasant part of the whole experience. This was confirmed almost immediately that first call with Justin.

  • How your child has everything taken from them and they learn how to live day to day with very little.

  • The workshop.

  • I like the fact that Branon introduced to us early the idea of aftercare. We were all three on the same wave length by the end of the program.

  • How after living in the wilderness our child is at the pace of life not at an artificial pace. In our workshop the 4 R’s was the highlight. Our daughter also spoke of an individual that made threatening comments to her and was immediately handled which made her feel she was in a safe environment.

  • Family workshop. Hearing the students speak of what they can take with them and how certain behaviors will be left behind.

  • That the PTR staff focused/emphasized the critical importance of aftercare, providing options tailored for our son.

  • Everything! That I could call Justin and Karen back and clarify things after our conversations were over.

  • I liked the 4 R’s. I loved to see my son happy and healthy.

  • This was an excellent choice for my son.

  • People were informative- compassionate and very candid about process- responsive when necessary.

  • My daughter opened up, started identifying the issues she needs to address.

  • At this point- focus, clarity with my son- change. It’s all about the student in my opinion.

  • My daughter’s wilderness experience appears to have laid a solid foundation for self-reflection and an understanding of her substance abuse issues. I believe that it helped her to begin to understand some of the underlying issues that led to her substance abuse.

  • Caring and genuineness of staff.

  • 4 R’s with son

  • My daughter would be the best person to answer this.

  • Made my child think for herself and be on her own.

  • Seeing how well my daughter adapted to the wilderness and how physically healthy she has become.

  • Meeting staff and one other student. Their attitudes were the best indication of how committed everyone really is.

  • Reuniting with my son, sharing the 4R’s and seeing the personal growth he had achieved.

  • Anna was very helpful. The family workshop was good. Thanks for the weekly pictures on the student website.

  • The way our son was cared for when he first arrived.

  • Hearing my son explain how he had learned to express himself in a group setting with renewed confidence.

  • The 4 R’s experience.

  • Level of contract, awareness of what was happening at all stages.

  • The counselor knew the patient very quickly.
