What was your overall impression of the family workshop experience?

• One of the best family workshops I have attended. The down to earth wisdom permeated the workshop. I found that trust grew through all the families’ openness and authenticity in sharing in the workshop.



• I liked being with and sharing experiences with other families. Made me realize we are not unique.



• Much better than I expected. A lot of attention was placed on each individual and our present condition and not laid at the feet of our child. This was helpful to know what my role is in my life not what my role is or is not in my child’s life. The workshop was a very safe place to reconnect with our child in a very safe and unassuming atmosphere. Effective in explaining each step and keeping us focused on or purpose and direction.



• The use of the 4 R’s process was the single-most effective tool I wish to take back with me, to use with those I have impacted. This workshop also helped to re-focus that I must transition my efforts from my child to efforts on addressing my flaws and personal addictions.



• Very rewarding to put “all the cards” on the table and bring “honesty communication” to the forefront- the 4R’s is an emotionally draining but productive process.



• It was well planned, thought provoking and it facilitated a gentle reuniting with our son. The 4 R’s was an amazing activity- very emotional.



• Very powerful way to share with other families and students. The setting was a beautiful back drop to confronting our fears and resolutions about next steps.
